[FREE to registered guests] Join us at Grapevine Station (behind the Camp Store) under the Texas stars for another campground favorite – Outdoor Movie Night! We'll send out a choice of three movies the week of your stay and the movie that receives the most votes is what we'll watch! Be sure to bring a warm blanket and a lawn chair so you can relax and enjoy the show. Drinks and hot caramel popcorn will be provided.

Kona Ice

[FREE to registered guests] Our friends from Kona Ice will be at the campground serving a variety of fall favorites including caramel corn, hot chocolate and cotton candy! Keep your ears open for that familiar “Kona jingle” and watch for the truck as it makes its way through the campground.

Celebrate the magic of Christmas in Grapevine, the Christmas Capital of Texas! Grapevine is the perfect place to create wonderful Christmas memories with your family and friends this season. ICE! at the Gaylord: November 14-January 4
Christmas is back and better than ever at Grapevine's Gaylord Texan Resort. With 1.5 million twinkling lights, 15,000 ornaments, an amazing 54-foot-tall rotating Christmas tree, a 7-foot-tall gingerbread house ICE! featuring The Nutcracker carved from more than two million pounds of ice, Kung Fu Panda, Awesome SNOW Tubing, and other exclusive holiday events and attractions.

Parade of Lights: December 5
Bring the entire family to the Parade of Lights, the largest lighted Christmas parade in North Texas. This Grapevine tradition features more than 100 lighted floats and marching bands. Look for Santa Claus on the last float! Come early to claim your spot along Historic Downtown Main Street to watch this exciting holiday event. This event is free to the public.

Christmas Wine Trains: December 12 & 19
Ride the rails on the Grapevine Vintage Railroad’s Christmas Wine Trains. This seasonal event is a festive grownup escape from all of the Christmas hustle and bustle! This fun evening begins with a reception at 7PM in the Cotton Belt Railroad District, followed by boarding at 7:30PM. Each train features a different Grapevine winery and winery representatives will be on board. Wine will be available for purchase on the train. Tickets are $36 per person. Buy your tickets early as these train experiences sell out quickly. Riders must be 21 and over. For more information, please call 817.410.3385.

Every year, the Amphicar Club gathers at The Vineyards Campground & Cabins to drive their unique amphibious vehicles into the lake and catch up. Thanks to “Amphi Wife” for staying with us in October, visiting our first ever Outdoor RV Show and for completing our Guest Review.  We really do appreciate all of our guests that take the time to give us feedback.

"Each fall several Amphicar owners meet at The Vineyards for a weekend of driving our water cars into the lake and sharing rides with interested onlookers. Some come in RVs and some tent camp. This year we enjoyed the added attraction of the RV show and free hot dog lunches at the campgrounds. We also rented the kayaks and paddle boats for additional water fun. The playground is a wonderful place for the kids to run and play freely. The Westlake firemen provided a delicious cookout for our evening meal before enjoying a free concert outdoor concert at Southlake Town Square. We look forward to visiting next year"
