RV TIP FROM GOOD SAM CLUB

No more lost remotes

3.pngSo many electronics, all with remotes- keeping track is a challenge on the road so we use Velcro to keep each remote with its device. Get the small squares with sticky tape and put the fuzzy side on the remote and the prickly side on the top of the TV, VCR, etc. Some larger remotes may require 2 squares. Make sure the spot for the Velcro to go is clean and dry. If you have a flat screen you can put the Velcro on the wall just above the TV so the remote rests on its side. Now you know what remote goes with what device!

Good spot, good times!

We've been to several campgrounds around the DFW area but The Vineyards Campground and Cabins on Lake Grapevine has definitely topped the list! Once you arrive you are greeted by very friendly and helpful staff that go over a map of the park with you to make sure you find your spot with ease. The location is perfect, you are only minutes from historical downtown, several great restaurants and bars, a Target, Walmart, even a Best Buy if you need one. The park is very well maintained, staff is super friendly, heck.. they will even deliver firewood right to your site! Definitely a place I would recommend to anyone who enjoys camping very conveniently in a top rated park.

Fall Round Up

This was our second visit to the Vineyards. We come down each Fall for an annual event. We love this park! All the sights are awesome, everything is very clean and well kept. This is a great place if you drive a big rig and is very dog friendly. There are plenty of activities going on, but if you just want to relax at your sight, there is plenty of privacy. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended, enjoy your stay!!

Can't wait to go back!

My Family and I, stayed here for the weekend in our RV and we had a great time. We originally had reservations in August but we could not go, because my Husband had caught Strep throat from some of his co-workers in his office. I called and told the lady at Vineyard that we had to cancel and she was so nice and said that I could rebook the reservation for another date. By doing this, I was able to get better spot by the water which was even better! The spot was one of their gold spots and it was a little more money but when it was so worth it. The place had a beautiful large deck over-looking the water. It also had a nice picnic table, fire pit and grill next to the deck. We have stayed at several campsites in the area but this was the best one so far. Even my Husband was impressed and my 7 year old daughter loved playing with her toys on the deck and kept telling me, "You did good, Mommy!" We took our daughter to the huge playground almost every day and she also got to build sand castles at the little beach next to the playground by the water. All and all, we had a great time and hope to go back in March 2015!
