Outdoor Movie Night – Friday, March 7, 6:30PM
[FREE] Head to Grapevine Station (behind the Camp Store) for this campground favorite!  We’ll start this family movie at sunset, and we invite everyone to enjoy complimentary, hot buttery popcorn!  Bring your lawn chairs for this special feature under the Texas stars.

Giant Slide & Kona Ice, Movie Night – Saturday, March 8
[FREE] Starting at noon, head toward the playground and take a ride down the two-lane slide!  At 3PM, our friends from Kona Ice will be cruising through the campground offering FREE shaved ice.  You can mix your own flavors from a self-serve dispenser on the side of the truck!  Keep your ears open for that familiar “Kona Jingle”!  Finally, at 6:30PM, we’ll start the movie at Grapevine Station; don’t forget to stop by the Camp Store porch any time before the movie to vote for your favorite!

Krispy Kreme, Disc Golf Challenge, and Hot Dog Roast – Sunday, March 9
[FREE] Join us at Grapevine Station (behind the Camp Store) for a complimentary Krispy Kreme Doughnut from 9AM until they’re all gone!  At 1PM, we’ll get together at the disc golf course to choose teams.  Feel free to practice early; you might win a prize!  Then the bonfire will get going at the Pavilion at 5PM.  We’ll bring the hot dogs and fixings for you to roast your own dinner!

Scavenger Hunt and S’mores – Monday, March 10
[FREE] Bring the kids to the Camp Store early to get their instructions for the Fred Foxx Scavenger Hunt!  Fred has put some clues together for you to find items around the campground.  Find them all, and you will be entered in our prize drawing.  You have all day to hunt, so start early and take your time.  Turn your kit in by 6PM at the Pavilion, and we’ll announce the winners just in time for a bonfire and s’mores.  One lucky winner might get to use their prize for an up-close view of the waxing gibbous moon!

Build a Tower, Hip Pop (popsicles), Community Bonfire - Tuesday, March 11 
[FREE] If you didn’t win a telescope with the scavenger hunt, try again with this challenge!  Starting at 1PM at the Pavilion, build your tower out of only marshmallows and spaghetti!  The tallest tower wins! You can get help from friends or go on your own. Runners up will get t-shirts!  We’ll measure towers at 2PM, and they must be sturdy enough to stand until the last one is recorded.  Then another local favorite vendor “Hip Pop” will be selling savory popsicles for one dollar!  We’ll end the day with a community bonfire at sunset.

Candy Bar Bingo & Karaoke – Wednesday, March 12
[FREE] What time of year isn’t perfect for this campground favorite?  Join us at Grapevine Station (behind the Camp Store) for candy bar bingo.  Everyone will leave with a sweet treat.  At 6PM, warm up those vocal chords and sing your heart out with Emcee Ed! 

Palio’s Pizza Lunch & Movie Night - Thursday, March 13
[FREE] Our friends at Palio’s Pizza will be delivering lunch!  From noon until 1PM at Grapevine Station, feel free to dig in to some of the best pizza around!  While you’re there, stop by the Camp Store porch to vote on the movie you want to see at 7:30PM!

Critterman! Wine! Elvis! - Friday, March 14
[FREE] What a day!  David Kleven, a.k.a. Critterman, will bring some of his favorite characters to Grapevine Station at noon!  Show up early to claim a good seat! Get up close and personal with some of the rainforest’s creepers and crawlers.  Then, at 4PM, the adults have an opportunity to taste some fine wine from our friends at 3Dreams Winery.  They can even put a custom label on your bottle (unlike any other)!  If that’s not enough, our friend, Elvis, will be stopping by at 7PM to sing until the lights go out!

St. Patty’s Day Parade, Kona Ice & Movie – Saturday, March 15
Saint Patrick's Day isn't until Monday, but let's celebrate on Saturday! Dress up your bikes, golf carts and cars! We'll start the line in front of the Camp Store at 1PM. Our friends from Kona Ice will also be at the campground on Saturday offering FREE shaved ice. You can mix your own flavors from a self-serve dispenser on the side of the truck, so every camper gets exactly what they want! Keep your ears open for that familiar "Kona jingle" and watch for the truck as it makes its way through the campground! Finally, don't forget to vote on which movie we'll see at 7:30PM!

Krispy Kreme – Sunday, March 16
[FREE] Join us again at Grapevine Station (behind the Camp Store) for a complimentary Krispy Kreme Doughnut and coffee from 9AM until they’re all gone!

Valentine's Day 2014
"Very clean, nicely manicured and maintained campground overlooking the lake. Well staffed with exceptionally nice and helpful employees. It was almost like being at an RV "resort" since there were free activities, a beautiful playground for the kiddos (tastefully placed a reasonable distance from any of the camp sites) and a cute camp store. There were no houses or streets visible from the campsites, which gave the relaxed feeling of being at a state park outside of the metroplex, however, historic Downtown Grapevine was just minutes away. What a jewel of a find, this was our first trip to this campground and we'll definitely be back with our grandkids."
