What a month! Warm afternoons and cool nights make it the perfect time to be on the lake! We hope you join us. |
We have plenty of activities at The Vineyards. In May, guests will enjoy live music and movie nights on weekends along with free hot dog cookouts, candy bar bingo, and t-shirt tie dying! Plus, there will be vendors coming through with sweet treats, and Sunday morning brings the ever popular Krispy Kreme Doughnuts! |

Join us as we kick off SummerBlast on Friday, May 23, at The Vineyards Campgrounds with a LIVE Country Concert before the fireworks on Grapevine Lake! The gates open to the public at 6pm, and the cost of the event is $5 per person (a max of $20/car). Our registered guests naturally are invited to enjoy the event with no entry fee! Pack your coolers, picnic baskets and lawn chairs, and come enjoy an evening of live country music, family-friendly outdoor games, and a fireworks show finale! Sweet treats and food will be available for purchase. The Country Concert Blast at The Vineyards Campground includes four Friday night concerts this summer before the fireworks display on Grapevine Lake with different country bands performing each evening. As many of you know, our longest term host couple suffered a sad loss last month. Floyd Harper lost his lovely wife, Lynnie. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. The Vineyards will have a fund raiser event to celebrate her life and assist Floyd in taking care of incurred medical expenses. |
|
If you can’t make the Fish Fry but would like to donate, please visit the online fund raiser here. Sadly, Floyd also recently lost his precious Yorkie, Harper. Our hearts and prayers are with him. |

Joe Moore, Grapevine Parks & Recreation Assistant Director, is formally announcing his retirement – effective May 30, 2014. Joe has been the lake parks visionary and has been with the City of Grapevine for more than 20 years. His tireless leadership and ambition have raised The Vineyards Campground & Cabins to a new level of RV and Cabin camping bliss. While his partner in success, Doug Evans, also retires, we would like to let our guests know that they have continued to work without rest to pass the reins on to a very talented group. Joe and Doug have made the Grapevine Lake Parks what they are today, and they have set the path for more progress in the future. We wish them all the best and will forever appreciate what they have done for the City of Grapevine.
