Ski boats, pontoon boats and jet skis may be rented at WaterWay Adventure Boat Rentals at Silver Lake Marina.  Click here or call 817.251.2628 for more information.

Protect Your Boat & Texas Lakes
zm

Zebra Mussels Found in Lewisville Lake
Zebra Mussels are filter feeders that cause economic and recreational disarray in the bodies of water they inhabit.  Unfortunately, less than a year after discovering this harmful species in Lake Ray Roberts, the infestation has spread to neighboring Lake Lewisville.  Zebra mussels’ larvae are invisible to the human eye and are therefore easily spread when boats and trailers are moved from lake to lake without proper cleaning. Please help us in our effort to prohibit the transfer of zebra mussels to more Texas lakes by always properly cleaning, draining (including live wells and bilges) and drying your boat, trailer and gear. For additional information and materials to distribute to boaters, please visit texasinvasives.org.

Remove Sediment from Water Hose Before Using – RV Tip #167
“Before attaching the water hose, run the water for a few seconds at high pressure just to wash off the faucet end and ensure no sediment, rust or critters are up inside the end of the faucet.”  For more helpful RV tips, visit goodsamclub.com.

 Guest Reviews
A special thanks to Trixie for sharing her wonderful Guest Review with us!  We really do appreciate all of our guests that take the time to give us feedback.
“We came down from Iowa and stayed at The Vineyards one week for my niece’s graduation in Flower Mound. I stayed in cabin 2 – it was clean, comfortable, and stayed cool (even with temps in the high 90’s). Very family oriented and I felt extremely safe. At 11 o’clock on Saturday night when we got home from the graduation party it was very quiet. The staff was so helpful with whatever we needed. I will only stay here from now on, never another hotel for us. Oh yeah, and the ducks came up to our deck everyday and we hand fed them. We saw eagles and egrets, too. It was the best vacation I’ve had in a long time.” rock
Thank you, Trixie, for choosing to stay at The Vineyards Campground & Cabins.  We look forward to welcoming you back on your next visit!
